Promoting clean energy development and coping with climate change is the common pursuit of every country in the world. Global Energy Interconnection serves as a platform for extensive development, deployment and utilization of clean energy globally.
Its essence is “UHV Grid + Smart Grid + Clean Energy”. At the United Nations Sustainable Development Summit held on September 26, 2015, Chinese President Xi Jinping proposed discussion on establishing a global energy network to facilitate efforts to meet the global power demand with clean and green alternatives. This concept has received wide and positive response by the international community.
On 30-31 March 2016, the State Grid Corporation of China, International Energy Agency, Edison Electric Institute, and Caring for Climate jointly hosted the 2016 International Conference on Global Energy Interconnection (2016 GEI) in Beijing.
During the event, CTVS provided TV studio set-up for LeTV live-streaming, using studio (#SONY HTC 1580 ) and wireless (#Vislink - wireless) camera systems.
