Documentaries – “Snow Covered Siberia”, and “Yangtze River Spring”

Contracted by Austria’s ORF Television, CTVS crews once again grabbed their adventure gear for two brilliant outdoor excursions.

One CTVS team headed to the breathtaking tundra of remote Siberia. They traveled for days on end to capture the rarely seen and picturesque winter wonderland. While there they shot a feature focusing on life along the Russian/Chinese border.

In cooperation with China’s CCTV, another CTVS team headed for warmer pastures. They followed the mighty currents, and navigated through the strong rapids of the Yangtze River from the wild winding beginnings in the mountains around Chongqing all the way to the Pacific Ocean. Shooting in the Spring enabled the crew to capture the intricacies of ordinary peoples’ everyday lives.
