Auto China 2006 Beijing

Auto China '06 Beijing – contracted by two of the world's leading auto-manufacturers and a major European broadcaster, CTVS' technical and local know-how ensured exceptional coverage of this international event.


Auto China ‘06 International Automotive Exhibition attracted over 40 car manufacturers all vying for the world’s third largest auto market. With passenger car sales in China jumping 26% to 3.1 million vehicles in 2005 it was crucial to provide exceptional coverage of this week long event. We supplied 10 ENG - crews (SD and HD), 3 editing suites and an OB van.

 

Chosen by two of the world’s most prestigious and well-know auto-manufacturers, we were contracted by Daimler Chrysler and Audi Volkswagen. We also supplied complete coverage for a major European broadcaster.

 

Mercedes E-Class Experience Paris-Beijing 2006

 

In October 2006, 33 standard Mercedes E-Class models with clean diesel engines left from Paris for Beijing. We were selected to go along for the ride.

 

Providing complete technical service for the showdown of the Experience we supplied Uplink and OB-facilities and produced a one hour live broadcast with the Head of Mercedes Car Group, Dr. Dieter Zetsche. Meeting the challenges of being on the road, the journey took us over 13,600 kilometres through nine countries with around 330 drivers from 35 nations all in 26 days. Altogether we produced more than 30 hours of program.
