"Race of Champions" – The Technical Support of Champions

By now there is hardly any big sporting event in China that doesn't rely on the professional support of CTVS and our knowledgeable crew of technicians and engineers, to capture record shattering performances with a perfect media production.

For the first time ever the legendary “Race Of Champions“ took place in China's capital Beijing. The CTVS crew was there to catch all the action with our expert broadcasting solutions. In early November 2009 all of the stars of international motorsports celebrated the end of season with this annual event that positions the best drivers of all disciplines against each other in a winner-takes-all tournament.

Big names like 7-time Formula 1 World Champion Michael Schumacher, and Sebastian Vettel of Germany, Britain’s Jenson Button, Mattias Ekstrom from Swedan, and stunt master/X-Games Champion Travis Pastrana of the USA all battled it out in Beijing’s Bird’s Nest Stadium made famous during the 2008 Summer Olympic Games. CTVS utilized two DVS systems, Camera crews, title-generators, and an entire “Arri Light“ kit with over 100 instruments to illuminate the pit area and press conference room.

CTVS also took charge of the Bird’s Nest Stadium master control room to operate the two LED jumbo screens for graphics use, real-time video, and instant reply. With that being said, if there’s a big media or sporting event in China, be sure CTVS is there, providing outstanding professional services.
