No Matter How Far – No Matter How High.
No Matter How Far – No Matter How High.
When there is an Eclipse You can’t Miss, it is CTVS You Must Insist.
No matter how far how high, CTVS will get there. On July 22, 2009 CTVS opened a “branch office” in the mountains just outside the illustrious city of Chongqing in southern China’s Sichuan Province. There, CTVS transmitted from the front row the once in a lifetime total eclipse of the sun. Millions of people worldwide were watching this spectacular event take place. It was the longest, total eclipse of the sun for the entire 21st century. Large parts of Asia were plunged into darkness during the middle of an otherwise sunny day. CTVS too, helped make it possible for the European audience to witness this event.
CTVS trekked over 800 kilograms of sophisticated broadcasting equipment from Beijing through the mountains to their base camp of operations. To conquer this transmission CTVS traveled with the help of their versatile and dependable 1.8m Ku Band Fly Away antenna system. CTVS transmitted, via satellite, the solar eclipse complete with interviews of experts to Spain using specially produced UV filters to telecast this memorable solar eclipse.
Of course, CTVS client, Overon, a Spanish provider of satellite transmission services and TV productions had the CTVS Crew’s full support and commitment. In Spain, this astrological epic event was shown on large public screens and discussed live in a television science program.
