Due to their extensive knowledge of Beijing, CTVS procured some of the best and most demanded live positions in the city for the Games. One of them, for example, was located directly across from the Bird’s Nest or National Stadium. CTVS provided the biggest rights holder, Eurovision, with live positions, staff and equipment.

CTVS had a fully equipped two-camera live position facing the Olympic Green and a single camera live position at Tiananmen Square. The positions were operating 24/7 and were directly connected fiber-optically to the impressive MCR of EBU OPS, where all European networks were routed to outside Beijing and from outside Beijing.

CTVS also supplied many EBU members with SNG trucks, equipment and staff (ARD, ZDF, TVE, and NTV Plus, to name a few).
