Annual CTVS Awards Honoring the Best in Chinese Documentary Filmmaking – 2009 Winners Announced

For the very first time, CTVS in 2009 proudly awarded the CTVS film awards for excellence in the field of Nonfiction Chinese Documentaries. As a provider of technical services to the creative media, the CTVS Awards focus on these four categories:

"Best Director",

"Best Cinematographer",

"Best Editor”,

and "Best Sound Designer".

The CTVS Awards were presented during the "6th International Chinese Documentary Film Festival" October 2009 in Taishan, China. Representatives from all Chinese media gathered together to honor these winners’ fine accomplishments. The CTVS Awards are the only prizes awarded for documentaries in China that include cash grants. In close collaboration with the "China Documentary Film Commission”, CTVS has taken up the challenge of supporting and sponsoring Chinese documentary films and is credited with opening up access to the European market.
